This is the horrifying moment that a thug grabbed hold of an elderly woman’s handbag and ran off with it in broad daylight.
The victim, 79, was pulled to the floor with some force as she tried to keep hold of her bag while walking along a residential street in Kettering, Northamptonshire.
She was left with a broken arm as she headed along St Theresa’s Close.
Police have released CCTV footage of the incident which happened between 3.20pm and 3.50pm on Sunday afternoon. Read more
