The Nigerian Senate,Wednesday, confirmed the Director of Media of President Muhammdu Buhari Campaign Organisation, Festus Keyamo, alongside others as members of Nigerian Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC).
The board will be headed by Ronke Sokefun and Other new members which includes: Adewale Adeleke, Mustapha Adewale Mudashiru, Josef O. J. Okoloagu and Alhaji Garba Bello.
Following the announcement the deputy speaker, Ike Ekweremadu, congratulate the chairman and members on their confirmation.
Ekweremadu said, “this is a very serious agency and as such, I and I do hope that these very responsible Nigerians will live up to the expectations of this Senate and serve their Fatherland responsibly.”
The appointment of new board members came eight months after the Senate received a request from the President for confirmation of seven-member Governing Board of Nigerian Deposit Insurance Corporation(NDIC). Read more
