Distinguished Senator Florence Ita-Giwa held a double celebration on Sunday, March 3rd when she marked her 73rd birthday in style and held the grand opening of her pet dream Echoes of Calabar restaurant in Victoria Island, Lagos.
It was a gathering where Mama Bakassi, as she popularly known, was honoured by not just her close friends, most of them celebrities, but also by admirers and well-wishers from all walks of life. The politician, philanthropist and fashion icon was at her very best as she basked in turning 73 and bringing the restaurant to fruition.
