Simon Ekpa likely to be deported for supporting Kanu, says witness

A prosecution witness, identified as PW-AAA, told the court on Friday that Simon Ekpa is likely to be deported from Finland to Nigeria to face trial over his support for Nnamdi Kanu and the agitation for the Republic of Biafra.

The witness, whose real identity was withheld for security reasons, made the statement during cross-examination by Kanuโ€™s lead counsel, Kanu Agabi, SAN.

Earlier, the federal government had presented additional items recovered from Kanu, which were admitted as exhibits by the court.

The items include a black laptop, two multi-mix transmitters, a mini white Apple iPad with a pouch, a grey Apple iPad with a pouch, a grey MacBook with a pouch, a grey MacBook with a case, a mini drone sound wave speaker, and two mini white speakers. (Businessday)
