Sir Sean Connery battled dementia before his death reveals his wife

Sir Sean Connery suffered dementia in the later years of his life, his wife has revealed while sharing details of his death this weekend. 

The James Bond legend died on Saturday at the age of 90 surrounded by his loved ones including his second wife of 45 years Micheline. 

According to the Moroccan-French painter, Sir Sean had always wanted to die peacefully without a ‘fuss’. 

Opening up about Sir Sean’s health battles, Micheline told the Mail Online: ‘It was no life for him.

He was not able to express himself latterly. At least he died in his sleep and it was just so peaceful. (Metro)
