Skydiver falls to his death after parachute fails to open during competition

A 30-year-old skydiver died after his parachute failed to open during a competition.

The man was performing a solo wingsuit jump at Jurien Bay in Perth, Australia, at 1.30pm yesterday during the Virtual Nationals Skydiving Competition. 

The man was ‘very experienced’ and was performing a ‘high level’ jump, according to local media. But his parachute failed to open correctly. (Metro)
