VIPs in entertainment and media executives were told to ditch the ordinary and rediscover the taste of infamy when Smirnoff City Recipe Tour hosted them to what the world number one premium vodka described as “a night of infamous cocktails”.
It was an exhilarating first step in the Smirnoff City Recipe tour that will culminate in a yet-to-be-announced venue on November 27. It was a night to remember in every sense of the word that evokes memory and longing for a time before the recent worldwide uncertainty.
Everyone who made it to the exclusive event at Arabesque Restaurant, 225B Etim Inyang Crescent, Victoria Island, Lagos, will cherish the experience for a long time to come. What they will recall is not just the deliciously unconventional recipes inspired by Nigerian cities, created by Diageo partnered World Class bartenders, they will also not forget the convivial ambience of the venue and of those within its walls. Then there is the beverage provided. Each curated cocktail; Eko for Show, Hot Bini, Oringo Levels, Cosmo Capital, and Live Large were themed to the taste of Lagos, Abuja, Benin, Port Harcourt and Enugu. And what a taste that was and flowing all night to the delight of the guests, too.
The Smirnoff City Recipe Tour said it will create unique experiences within partner bars, altering the ordinary with unconventional Smirnoff infused cocktails. It did much more than that on November 6 in Lagos when social butterflies, lifestyle influencers and members of the press in attendance savoured the irresistible cocktails served by seasoned bartenders led by Diageo’s brand ambassador – Berg Baboyan. The night continued with chart topping music by artistes home and abroad to crown a night of fun, vibes and unending mischief.
The tour continues through Abuja, Benin, Enugu and Port Harcourt – with recipes set to make the Most Wanted Cocktail List in partner bars.
The Smirnoff City Recipe tour experience precedes Smirnoff for No Known Address, a night of unadulterated fun with mischief makers and Smirnoff accomplices, at a yet undisclosed location on November 27th.
