Former Manchester United goalkeeper Tim Howard has praised Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s impact and for ‘echoing Sir Alex Ferguson’s thoughts’ at Old Trafford.
The Norwegian has won all seven of his games in charge of the Red Devils since taking charge in December, with the club now just three points off the top four in the Premier League.
Interim boss Solskjaer is now in pole position to get the job on a full-time basis, and will be an even firmer favourite for the role if United beat Arsenal in the FA Cup on Friday night.
Howard believes that Solskjaer’s ability to tap into the style of play he learned under Sir Alex Ferguson is behind the side’s recovery. Read more
