Umma Getso, the 2019 vice presidential candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP), says some women in politics falsely accuse men of sexual harassment for political interest.
The activist was a guest on Channels Television’s The Morning Brief programme on Monday.
Getso demanded justice in the case between Kogi Central Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan and Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
She said, “Let there be justice. Let women be treated right wherever they are but I am very sorry to say this to a lot of women: I’ve worked with a lot of men, national and internationally, of different caliber. “
When I hear women say I am sexually harassed, there is a lot of definition to that or we need to redefine what sexual harassment is. (Channels)
