Comic book legend Stan Lee died on Monday at the age of 95, and his fans, friends and colleagues took to social media to commemorate the iconic Marvel comics creator.
Among those who spoke out were some of Marvel’s biggest stars, including “Captain America” star Chris Evans, “Iron Man” frontman Robert Downey Jr. and “Guardians of the Galaxy” actor Chris Pratt.
Hugh Jackman, who played Wolverine in the “X-Men” franchise, and “Guardians of the Galaxy” stars Chris Pratt and Zoe Saldana also sent their appreciation.
“For decades he provided both young and old with adventure, escape, comfort, confidence, inspiration, strength, friendship, and joy,” Evans tweeted. “He exuded love and kindness and will leave an indelible mark on so, so, so many lives.” Read more
