Steve Nicol criticises Rio Ferdinand for saying Premier League season should be voided

Steve Nicol insists Liverpool should get their chance to win the title this term and has criticised Rio Ferdinand’s controversial calls to void the rest of the campaign due to the coronavirus crisis.

All Premier League fixtures have been suspended until the end of April at the earliest amid the devastating pandemic but it’s been confirmed that the season will be extended ‘indefinitely’ until it has been completed.
