Suspected members of the Eiye Confraternity have gruesomely murdered a man believed to be a member of a rival cult group in the Alaba area of Lagos State.
PUNCH Metro reports that the killing was the latest in a series of cult-related attacks that have claimed multiple lives across the state in recent weeks.
A video obtained from the Telegram channel of Naija Confra on Sunday showed the victim, later identified only as Hope, sitting on the floor during an interrogation by the suspected cultists. In the footage, the visibly terrified man introduced himself, saying, “My name is Hope. I live on Abanise Street.”(Punch)
