Eye witness accounts inform thisislagos.ng that there has been a prison break at the Ikoyi prisons off Ribadu road in Ikoyi, Lagos.
“We have been hearing gun shots for over 30 minutes now,” a resident of Sumbo Jibowu told thisislagos. “Police men and soldiers are here but every body is scared.”
Sections of the prisons are believed to have been set on fire.
