Tammy Abraham has hailed Callum Hudson-Odoi for providing him with a first-time assist during Chelsea’s emphatic 4-1 victory over Southampton at St Mary’s.
Hudson-Odoi has slowly been re-integrated into the Chelsea side following a lengthy lay-off with an Achilles injury, starting against Grimsby Town and coming on as a substitute against Brighton and Lille over the past fortnight.
The 18-year-old was deemed fit enough for his first Premier League start of the season and he made a quick impression, playing a great ball over Southampton’s defence for Abraham to latch onto and finish with aplomb.
