A fuel tanker has reportedly exploded on Otedola Bridge, near Berger in Lagos on Saturday morning.
According to Tribune, though the explosion is yet to be confirmed by official sources, residents in the area have given eye witness reports.
The Nation said in its report that two fuel tankers were involved in the incident at the popular Otedola Bridge in Lagos.
Adding that the explosion reportedly occurred around 2 am, the paper said it gathered the two tankers exploded along the bridge.
The casualty figure was unknown as at this time of report.
However, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) via its twitter handle said it has responded to distress calls from the area.
“The Agency has responded to the distress calls concerning a tanker on fire at Berger along the Lagos Ibadan Expressway,” it tweeted.
