Muiz Adeleye,19, was on Friday docked in an Ikorodu Chief Magistrates’ Court in Lagos for allegedly attempting to steal from a provision shop.
He pleaded not guilty to the charge.
Adeleye, whose address is unknown is charged with theft.

The Prosecution Counsel, DSP Gbemileke Agoi, told the court that the defendant committed the offence on April 14 at about 2 am, at No 7 Olubi street in Ikorodu area of Lagos.
Agoi said the defendant attempted to steal from a provisions shop belonging to Mrs Oshikoya Adefunke, the complainant.
The offence, he said, contravenes the provisions of Section 406 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.
The Chief Magistrate, Mrs A.B Olagbegi-Adelabu, admitted the defendant to bail in the sum of N50, 000 with a surety in like sum.
Olagbegi-Adelabu ordered that the address of the surety must be verified..
She adjourned the case until May 18 for mention. (NAN)
