Dr. Teni Adesanya, Founder and Executive Chairman of Oxford Holdings, has emerged The Top10 Magazine Man of the Year, 2021. The business tycoon came tops in a rigorous selection process that featured about 100 other equally prominent and successful Nominees, in an exercise that involved various stages of screening, from which he emerged the winner.
In announcing his choice as the magazine’s Man of the Year, the board of editors of The Top10 Magazine said Dr. Adesanya was chosen because of his outstanding accomplishments in the Nigerian business world, especially his ability to grow the Oxford brand to international standard as Nigeria’s fastest conglomerate with tentacles in many sectors of the economy.
In a letter conveying the decision of the management of Toncam Communications Limited, Publishers of the Top10 Magazine to bestow the award to Dr Adesanya, it said ‘it is our considered view that your massive investments in key sectors, coupled with your recent notable achievements in 2021 in areas of rise in ROI to investors, new projects, infrastructure development, creation of employment opportunities for the youths etc, are a demonstration of your commitment to Nigeria’s economic development, which is worthy of commendation, hence the decision of our management to accord you this special recognition as The Top10 Magazine Man of the Year, 2021’.
The Top10 Magazine Man of the Year award was instituted six years ago as an annual award to recognize and honour outstanding personality that has recorded milestone accomplishments in a given year in any relevant sector.
Dr. Adesanya is the founder of Oxford Holdings, a private owned and internationally recognized business empire with diversified operation across one of the largest value chains imaginable. It has emerged as a multi-sectorial business empire with tentacles across the entire business landscape of Nigeria, creating wealth and value in every key sector of the economy.

Mr. Iji stated that the magazine has earlier unveiled Dr. Adesanya few days ago as its 2021 Man of the year on all its social media handles, which is the first phase of the programme. The second phase is the official media statement announcing his selection, while the third phase is the special publication on Dr. Adesanya by the magazine. The final phase is the award ceremony to present the award to Dr Adesanya.
