There is no impending fuel scarcity, NNPC debunks rumours (Punch)

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, on Thursday, debunked the rumours that the nation was going to experience fuel scarcity due to the alleged refusal of some oil marketers to lift products from the depots.

In a statement released on its verified Twitter handle and signed by Ndu Ughamadu, its Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs Division, NNPC said, it had over one billion litres of fuel in stock.

It stated that there was no need for panic buying or hoarding of fuel.
