Thomas Partey admits Atletico Madrid players ‘suffered’ and found it ‘difficult’ adhering to social distancing guidelines during their first training session back at the weekend.
La Liga, like the vast majority of Europe’s top leagues, was put on hold back in March due to the coronavirus crisis and lockdown measures were introduced in Spain to help curb the spread of the outbreak.
However, the rules have gradually been lifted and teams in Spain have been allowed to join up for training once again in the lead-up to a proposed restart in June.
