The CAF Referees Committee has included three female referees and a Nigerian, Samuel Pwadutakam, as part of the 25-man list of match officials for the upcoming U-23 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
The list, which was obtained by our correspondent, showed that 12 referees and 13 assistant referees were selected for the tournament scheduled for November 8 to 22.
CAF, in a statement on its website on Thursday, said the female referees were appointed for the second time as part of its commitment to develop female refereesโ capacity. Read more
