Three men have been jailed for a total of 17 years having been found guilty of offering illegal streaming services, allowing customers to watch Premier League football matches at a discount price on the internet.
Steven King has been sentenced to seven years and four months’ in prison, while Paul Rolston received six years and four months, and Daniel Malone will serve three years and three months.
According to FACT, an intellectual property protection organisation in the UK, these are some of the longest sentences ever issued for piracy-related crimes.
