President Bola Tinubu has felicitated with Senator Segun Bamigbetan Baju on his 70th birthday, praising his longtime associate’s sacrifices and commitment to Nigeria’s advancement.
Senator Baju, a former colleague of President Tinubu in the Senate during the Third Republic, also served as Nigeria’s Ambassador to Cuba and several other countries.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, July 30, by his special adviser on media and publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, President Tinubu commended Senator Baju for his service to the nation during a time of great uncertainty, saying it set him apart as a true patriot.

“He was also former Ambassador of Nigeria to the Republic of Cuba with concurrent accreditation to the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, Republic of Honduras, and Republic of Nicaragua.
“President Tinubu extols the sacrifices and commitment of Senator Baju to the advancement of Nigeria, commending him for serving the nation at a time of great uncertainty when the demands of nationhood set apart true patriots.
