The World Trade Organization (WTO) Director-General Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, has lauded President Bola Tinubu for the stability of Nigeria’s economy.
She said this after a meeting with the President in Abuja on Thursday. When asked what her perception of Nigeria’s economy is, the WTO DG said the economy is stabilised but that the next step is to grow the economy.
Iweala said, “We think that the President and his team-and we just exchanged with him- have worked hard to stabilise the economy and you cannot improve an economy unless it’s stable, so he has to be given the credit for the stability of the economy. (TheNation)
