‘Identity crisis’? Call Nnamdi Kanu
US rapper 21 Savage, real name Shayaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, whose raps mostly paint pictures of a violent upbringing in Atlanta surrounded by drugs and guns, has been arrested by immigration officials who say he is actually from the UK. The Immigration and Customs Enforcement are alleging that “21 Savage came to the US in July 2005 aged 12 and failed to leave when his visa expired a year later.” Pardon me but this is such an easy-peasy case. Solution: call in Mazi Nnamdi Kanu: the man probably knows the Togolese woman your father was with before he married your mum.
Hear word, Nigerians!
Primate of the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion), Nicholas Okoh, has these words for Nigerian citizens on exercising their civic duty: “You must take these elections seriously. They are very important. They will affect you, your children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. It is not funny at all. The polls are very important. Do not joke with them.” Apt and crucial words you will agree but you don’t even have PVC sef. Mtcheeew.
Who in Lagos has the final say?
National leader of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu, has said that Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos would no longer be removed from office. The State House of Assembly had threatened to remove Ambode from office for alleged gross misconduct, as regards the 2019 budget. “We have resolved that…Let the two arms of government communicate and continue to respect one another and build consensus and understanding,” Tinubu was quoted as saying. LOL. Didn’t I say those warring two would shake hands and sweep their differences under the carpet? Y’all should start paying tithe to me. I imagine people singing in my church: Who has the final say? Tinubu has the final say!
