Khafi Kareem: The ‘rogue’ officer
Big Brother Naija’s Pepper Dem season housemate, Khafi Kareem, who is also a Metropolitan Police officer in the United Kingdom, has come under investigation for appearing on the reality TV show despite being refused permission by her employers. According to the UK Evening Standard, the 29-year-old, who joined the UK Police as a Constable in 2015, is being probed after she was filmed having sex with 31-year-old housemate, Ekpata Gedoni on the show.
The Metropolitan Police said it had not granted Kareem’s request to appear on the show and that an internal investigation would be carried out. The Force added that Kareem was granted unpaid leave for an “unrelated reason” ahead of appearing on the show, but her request to take part in the programme was denied.
A spokesman said, “The Met does not support the officer’s appearance, nor does she represent the Met whilst appearing on the show.”
LOL. Khafi, Khafi, Khafi. I just hope she wins. What shall it profit a person to be used, dumped and thensacked? May we never know the answer to that…Amen.
Okorocha and the firing squad
The Governor of Imo State, Emeka Ihedioha, has urged Nigerians not to see the current probe of his predecessor, Rochas Okorocha, as an act of witch-hunt. The governor stated this while speaking to journalists in Yola, the Adamawa State capital, after he paid a condolence visit to the state Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, over the death of his father.
Ihedioha, who also stated that he was awaiting the outcome of the probe report, added that such investigation was necessary to make Imo State better.
He assured Nigerians that his government would not hesitate to implement the recommendations of the committee’s report once it was ready.

The caves are guilty
Enugu State Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has ordered the demolition of Agbogugu and Isu-Awaa-Agbudu caves in Ihe-Agbogugu-Ogbaku-Amurri and Isu-Awaa-Agbudu forests to enhance security.
The governor gave the order yesterday when he visited the area as well as the Umuogbua Ihe tunnel on the Enugu/Port Harcourt Expressway, by Awgu Local Government Area, which serves as a hide-out and escape route for kidnappers.
Nice one. After demolishing caves, make him demolish trees, roads and cars sef. Mtcheew.
‘Slam dunk’ baptism
A mother rushed to the aid of her baby son after a ‘sadist’ priest violently dunked him in water during his baptism. Disturbing footage shows Russian Orthodox priest Fotiy Necheporenko forcefully dunk the naked one-year-old boy into the font. The mother can be heard screaming in terror as the frightened child is repeatedly forced into the water.
Distraught mother Anastasia Alexeeva, 24, recalled how she grabbed back her son during the incident at Marienburg church, in Gatchina near St Petersburg. She said: “He did everything to hurt the child. He saw that he was big, that it was not possible to dive him into such a small font. He had to splash the water on his head. But still he decided to do it his way.”
The church said the baptism was ‘violent’ and have suspended Father Necheporenko for a year. Ms Alexeeva has reported him to the police and a probe has been launched.

More work for monkey, more chop for baboon
Mia Khalifa has revealed she only made $12,000 (£9,990) in her porn career, despite being one of the most searched stars in the business. The 26-year-old became notorious in 2014 after she filmed a porn scene in which she wore a hijab during a threesome, and became the highest ranked performer on Pornhub that year.
However, it turns out that Mia only did porn for three months, and didn’t make all that much money from the job. Tweeting a link to an interview she did with Megan Abbott, the Lebanese-American star said: “People think I’m racking in millions from porn. Completely untrue. I made a TOTAL of around $12,000 in the industry and never saw a penny again after that. Difficulty finding a normal job after quitting porn was… scary.’
She explained to a fan that each porno paid about $1,000 (£820), and went on: ‘To clarify, I was never promised “millions”, nor do I expect it. I’m just clarifying common misconceptions about me, and in turn, about the industry.
