The Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) has said that its leader, Ibraheem El-Zakzaky was being treated like a criminal in India. The sect alleged that El-Zakzaky, who was flown to Medenta Hospital in New Delhi alongside his wife, Zenaat, on Monday, was caged and not allowed any freedom.
Chairman, Free El-Zakzaky Committee, Abubakar Abdurahman, who made the allegations on Wednesday, stated that the IMN leader may be brought back to Nigeria.
He said, โWe are already holding discussions about the plan. We may bring him back to Nigeria if the condition in the hospital doesย not improve.โ When asked if he had evidence of the governmentsโ involvement, Abdulrahman said he would provide it โat the appropriate time.โ

Live and let Tinubu be
The Coalition of Northern Groups (CNG) on Tuesday said former governor of Lagos State and national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu, should not feign ignorance of the #RevolutionNow protest.ย The group in a statement by the CNGโs spokesman, AbdulAzeez Suleiman, on Tuesday in Kaduna, also described Tinubuโs concept of nationalism as fake.
The CNG argued that Tinubu could not feign ignorance of the protest because the convener of the #RevolutionNow, Omoyele Sowore, and key supporters of the protest including Nobel laureate, Prof Wole Soyinka and Mr Femi Falana (SAN) were his allies.
The group argued that the national leader of the APC could not have claimed to be patriotic when his allies were the ones organising a revolution protest against President Muhammadu Buhari. It said, โWhere was Tinubuโs sense of patriotism when his tutelage Omoyele Sowore called for a violent protest with the ultimate aim of overthrowing a democratically-elected government?”

Power to peopleโฆof Daura
A community leader under the Daura Emirate, Mohammed Saleh, on Tuesday, told President Muhammadu Buhari that the Emirate only enjoys stable power supply when he is in town.
Saleh said, โAnytime the President is around we enjoy 24 hours power supply. But if he is not around, the power supply is not always stable.โ

The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has directed all airline operators, especially those operating regional and international flights into the country to exercise a high level of vigilance following the resurgence of the Ebola Virus Disease in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The aviation agency, in a statement signed by its General Manager, Public Affairs, Mr.ย Sam Adurogboye, on Tuesday, said the directive was contained in a letter signed by the NCAA Director General, Capt Muhtar Usman, and had since been sent to all airline operators.ย โAirlines are to refresh the knowledge of their crew members for improved and sustained proficiency in handling and communication with ATC of any suspected case of communicable disease on board,โ the agency said.
I hope airlines will heed this directive. Make Ebola no come hug plane like that bros enter Naija.
No rest for the dead
Martin Shikuku Alukoye was buried in his full Kakamega County Youth Service uniform after drowning this month. Local officials then exhumed the body to retrieve the uniform, despite opposition from his family.
Mr.ย Alukoye’s uncle said they had violated “the laws of the land and the laws of our forefathers”. “We had fully involved the county government in the burial arrangements and they never resisted our proposal to bury [him] in his work regalia,” Francis Mutamba said, according to the Daily Nation newspaper.
