Women Arise in Africa enter one trouser with Tekno
Women Arise in Africa (WAA), A non-governmental organisation in Kenya , on Wednesday commended the Federal Government for its response to the nude video by a Nigerian artiste, Augustine Kelechi, aka Tekno, describing it as timely.
The WAA, which deals with the protection and advancement of the female gender in a statement by its President, Linda Magrego and Secretary, Bona Stephen, commended the manner the government reacted to the offensive video. The WAA said, “We commend the Director General of National Council for Arts and Culture, Otunba Segun Runsewe, and the Nigerian government for standing up in defence of the Nigerian culture and respect for the dignity of the women and girl child.”
Mtcheew. Weren’t the women in the videos consenting adults? And ‘other African countries and decent people in the world are carefully watching how Nigeria will handle this dangerous infraction’, really? Our faux righteousness will be death of us.
More Ihedioha-Okorocha drama in Imo State
Okorocha in a statement issued by his media aide, Sam Onwuemeodo, in Owerri, said that Makinde despite taking over from an All Progressives Congress (APC) governor said that he won’t cancel the good policies of his successor’s administration. He insisted that the governor was on a vendetta mission against him.
“Governor Ihedioha has set up more than fourteen Committees and Panels since he became governor and each of the Committees or Panels has one or two specific assignments to carry out and all against the APC government which Senator Okorocha had led,” the statement read. “We would only ask Governor Ihedioha to borrow a leaf from his fellow PDP governor, who also succeeded an APC governor in Oyo State, Seyi Makinde…because at the end of the day, the overall interest of the State and her people should remain the ultimate goal.”
LOL. This two Imolites should just get married biko – the ‘bromance’ is too much and needless at this point.

When tacos goes the wrong way
A man has died after choking on tacos during a minor league baseball game eating contest. Dana Hutchings, 41, collapsed to the ground during the taco-eating competition on Tuesday in Fresno, California. He was rushed to hospital where medics tried to clear his airway but died shortly after arriving.
Mr Hutchings took part in the event while watching the Fresno Grizzlies baseball team. Tacos, which are hugely popular in Mexico and the US, are corn or wheat folded tortillas containing fillings such as meat or chicken.
One baseball fan Matthew Boylan, who watched Tuesday’s contest, said he noticed Mr Hutchings because he was eating much faster than the other two contestants. He claimed Mr Hutchings appeared to be swallowing the tacos without chewing them.
Hmmm. I no wan make fun of this. RIP Mr Hutchings.
Tyson in favour of ‘bush burning’
Former American professional boxer who competed from 1985 to 2005, Mike Tyson, has said that he loves Indian hemp and spends thousands of dollars on it monthly. He confessed that he and his business partner don’t only smoke the weed, but they are currently developing a weed resort.
He said that, together, he and his business partner, Eben Britton, consume about $40,000 worth of cannabis every month. As reported by several online platforms, Tyson, one of the most legendary boxers of all time, is currently working on becoming one of the biggest players in the marijuana game.
The state of California, where Tyson has a ranch, allows for recreational use of the substance. Recreational marijuana is currently legal in 10 American states; while medical marijuana is legal in 33.
