Fani-Kayode Vs. The Church of Satan: A fiery battle

Femi Fani-Kayode, former Minister of Aviation had a hilarious banter with The Church of Satan on Twitter which has since gone viral. Fani-Kayode had mentioned the ‘church’ in a now deleted tweet (about Linda Fairstein of the infamous Central Park Five case) which they responded to, leading to a Twitter argument.

@ChurchofSatan said, “She has nothing to do with us, please leave us out of this.”

Fani-Kayode responded @RealFFK, “Get thee behind me satan!” The ‘church’ replied, “That doesn’t actually work. We are right here in front of you telling you that you are making false, unfounded accusations and asking you nicely to please leave us out of this as it has nothing to do with us.”

@RealFFK said, “In Jesus name I bind you and send you to the desert places. The devil is a liar: he was a liar and murderer from the start and the father of lies.”

LOL. So them don dey bind Satan on Twitter? Very soon God sef go dey like pesin picture on Instagram.

Who has seen Oyo’s missing cars?

The immediate past governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi and his commissioners alledgedlywent away with many government vehicles and sold off a lot more for pittance, especially new vehicles bought at the end of 2018 and early this year.

Bisi Ilaka, Chief of Staff to Governor Seyi Makinde, made the revelation while fielding questions from journalists during an interview on Fresh FM in Ibadan, at the weekend.

Ilaka explained that Makinde, his deputy and himself had been riding in their personal vehicles since assumption of office because there were no vehicles to work with. “We have only been in government for barely a week and a half. But from what we have seen so far, the scale of larceny by the last government is unprecedented. Everybody knows that getting cars is not the problem of the immediate past governor. Why did he take away government vehicles?”

LOL. I tire for Naija. Who knows, maybe they needed the cars to do Uber, you know say country hard?

It’s a Peruzzi hit!

Singer, Davido and his record label artiste, Peruzzi have apologised to a Twitter influencer, Pamilerin Adegoke, who was allegedly assaulted by Peruzzi on Sunday.

Davido took to his verified Twitter handle to apologise. He wrote, “I apologize to you @thepamilerin on behalf of my brother and artist @Peruzzi_VIBES. He was wrong for putting his hands on you but people need to realise that we artists are human beings and we see everything! You said some harsh words to my brother and sometimes this thing dey pain!”

Peruzzi wrote, “I did very wrong for (sic) yesterday slapping Mr. Pamilerin. (I) let my feelings get the (better) of me and I’m very sorry. Apologies to Mr Pamilerin and also to the general public. I’d never get into such mess again. Love only, I promise.”

Mtcheew. Peruzzi no try. And it’s not a lie that (currently) Teni is a better artist. Bros should add a chill pill to that his spliff.

‘Make una no give up on my girls’

Super Falcons coach Thomas Dennerby says his team must live up to expectations when they battle South Korea on Wednesday in Grenoble at the ongoing 2019 Women’s World Cup in France. The Falcons must beat the Asians to stand any chance of advancing from Group A, after they were thrashed 3-0 by Norway in their opening game on Saturday.

“We have to win our next game,” Dennerby said in his post-match interview. “To let in three goals is not good but we just can’t give up now. First of all, we need to win our next game, get the three points. Definitely, we need to go for 100 per cent against South Korea and then hopefully we can fight to have one point in our last game against the host.

“When it comes to sports you can never give up, so we have to fight for 180 minutes more. A game can change at the last minute.”

Mtcheew. I want those ladies to succeed but make we talk true, them no follow. BTW, I no know why this year our national teams just dey go count bridge for obodo oyibo. Shameful.

Sorry case

On Sunday, Canadian singer-songwriter Justin Bieber, for no reason, challenged Tom Cruise to a fight in the octagon (the UFC ring).

Former UFC champion Conor McGregor was quick to talk up the bout’s prospects. “Does Cruise have the sprouts to fight?” he inquired, simultaneously offering his own company’s services in hosting the clash and then offering to fight actor Mark Wahlberg on the undercard.

“At some point tonight Tom Cruise’s agent will have to call Tom Cruise and tell him Justin Bieber has challenged him to a fight,” a Twitter user tweeted. “This is an actual conversation that will happen.”

An advice: Guys, stay off drugs.
