Troops arrest suspected female terror logistics supplier in Zamfara (Channels)
Troops of the one brigade of Operation Fansan Yanma have arrested 25-year-old Shamsiyya Ahadu, a suspected logistics supplier for terrorist activities in Zamfara State.
The suspect was arrested on Saturday, December 28 after authorities received intelligence about her movement.
She was with her accomplice, Ahmed Husaini, at a checkpoint along the road from Kware to Badarawa in the Shinkafi LGA which resulted in the arrest of the suspect. Read more

National Association of Seadogs (NAS), a human rights and social justice organization, has offered free medical service to over 550 indigent people of Ugiekha Community, South Ibie in Etsako West Local Government of Edo State.
The event, tagged: “Free Medical Mission” was organized by the Hybrid Deck (Edo North Chapter) in partnership with World Mama Mission, Canada (Represented by Mr. & Dr. (Mrs.) Christopher Asapokhai) and was held at the community town hall, adjacent the palace of the village head.

179 dead, 2 rescued after plane crashes while landing in South Korea (ABC)
All 181 passengers and crew aboard a passenger jet that crashed upon landing in South Korea on Sunday morning are presumed dead except for two people rescued from the wreckage, authorities said.
Jeju Air Flight 2216 was landing at Muan International Airport around 9 a.m. local time when the plane went off the runway and crashed into a wall.
There were a total of 175 passengers and six crew members aboard the Boeing 737 aircraft, which had taken off from Bangkok, according to the Korean Ministry of Land Infrastructure and Transport. The Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor on Saturday documented the testimonies of women who were allegedly abused by Israeli soldiers, who ordered them to remove their pants before putting their hands on their bodies during Friday’s raid.
“A soldier forced a nurse to take off her trousers, then placed his hand on her. When she tried to resist, he struck her hard across the face, causing her nose to bleed,” one witness told the human rights monitor. Read more
