Presidentย Donald Trumpย claimed Tuesday that “the Pentagon and our great Military Leaders are thrilled” to be participating in his newlyย revamped Fourth of Julyย celebrations in Washington, which will feature “incredible flyovers,” fireworks and a speech from the President.
“Big 4th of July in D.C. ‘Salute to America.’ The Pentagon & our great Military Leaders are thrilled to be doing this & showing to the American people, among other things, the strongest and most advanced Military anywhere in the World. Incredible Flyovers & biggest ever Fireworks!” the President tweeted.
The US military is expected to be front and centre during Thursday’s celebration, which will showcase a wide variety of weaponry, including M1 Abrams tanks. Read more
