Unai Emery warned Mauricio Pochettino against joining Manchester United and told him to stick with Tottenham Hotspur instead.
The Argentine coach has been praised for his work with the north London club but is thought to be one of United’s top targets to replace Jose Mourinho as their full-time manager at the end of this season.
Pochettino has expressed his frustration at the lack of money spent by Daniel Levy and the Spurs board, and some believe the opportunity to spend big at the world’s most profitable club would be too tempting to turn down.
