Five undergraduates of a tertiary institution in Owerri, Imo State, have been arrested for alleged involvement in secret cult activities.
The Imo State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps said the youths were nabbed after an alleged cult operation.
The suspects were identified as Odili Ugochukwu (29), Jacob Emmanuel (20), Amakor Nnaemeka (19), Ihedioha Osita (20) and Ekeh Chima.
The state Commandant of the corps, Mr Raji Ibrahim, on Thursday at the command headquarters in Owerri said the undergraduates were arrested around 10.45am at a hostel called GNG, immediately after the operation at Eze Lodge on Friday, October 26.
