A police officer faces criminal charges after she was caught texting while driving her patrol car with no seat belt on.
The unidentified cop was filmed by Marcus Evans, of Killeen in Texas, with the clip uploaded to Facebook last Tuesday.
It shows the woman driving her Ford Explorer with one hand, while apparently looking away from the road to check her phone.
The cop makes no attempt to hide the device, and lifts it up to the wheel – despite studies showing texting while driving is six times more dangerous than driving drunk. Read more
