Ever since Uzoamaka Ohiri, ex-wife of Chinedu Emmanuel, the media personality and comedian, popularly known as Nedu, #MeToo-ed him on Twitter, declaring him an irresponsible father, a wife beater among other things, she has acquired a disdainful status…a woman with no shame!
Thanks to Nedu’s reply which he backed up with evidence to the contrary; he accused her of infidelity by passing on to him their first born son, a child he didn’t father; Nedu published the DNA test results and everyone has been taking pot shots at Uzoamaka and the gender she represents.
I watched a video onine where Uzoamaka was trying to explain herself. To summarise:
-She said she never told Nedu the pregnancy she was carrying prior to their marriage was his…he assumed.
-Nedu was always suspicious of her and had even told friends he wasn’t sure the last pregnancy was his as he only had sex with her once before she said she was pregnant.
-He was so suspicious …he even went ahead to conduct another DNA test on the other children.
Uzoamaka didn’t say much to contradict Nedu’s rebuttal; instead she dug herself and the children she claimed to be protecting deeper into the mud.
Dear Uzoamaka and friends advising her to the contrary, please biko, kip kwayet!(speaking in Patience Jonathan’s voice)
Kip Kwayet!
Uzoamaka claims to be speaking her truth; pray woman, what truth do you speak when you said Nedu assumed the pregnancy you were carrying was his own, that you didn’t tell him it wasn’t his?
Biko nwannem, what are you saying here?
You entered into marriage with a man, naturally your pregnancy should be his since you had had sex with him before the marriage, right? And prior to that, since you knew you were getting married, to Nedu, you should have shunned other suitors and closed your legs to all of them, …right?
So Nedu should never doubt that your pregnancy wasn’t his…but you knew it wasn’t his; you knew you had dalliances with another man/men while you had promised to be Mrs. Nedu till death did you part…and yet, you kept it to yourself…no actually, you deceived him…you took him for a fool!
That was so wrong, so untruthful!
But let’s even assume Nedu married you knowing that you were pregnant with another man’s child, some men have been known to do this, so it’s nothing strange; you should never have given him reason to keep checking whether the other children were his!
That means your kurukere moves had got him so wrung up he just couldn’t accept that subsequent pregnancies were his! And thus his need to conduct those DNA tests.
I hear some saying, maybe Nedu should have blurred the boy’s name, spared the boy the shame of being told by his classmates who would’ve heard their parents talking about his bastard status…I think if Nedu had done that, we would have faulted his claims.
The person I will blame is Uzoamaka, you don’t come out accusing someone when you have a bigger share of the blame.
No soap can wash off the fact that you gave him another man’s son as his, this is Nigeria, this is Africa, it is a taboo! So you should have just kept quiet!
I hear someone saying, “Women do it all the time.” That maybe so but they never go on social media to tell it!
She said she wanted to catch Nedu’s attention, in doing that she hollered at the rest of us and we are dissecting her like a specie in a biology lab and what we are discovering , reeks!
Uzoamaka Ohiri, kip kwayet, you are talking too much and in your many words, there are half-truths and outright lies!
I’m not going to judge you, God forbid! I just want you to stop conducting interviews and talking online; you said you are social media shy, retreat!
You’ve done too much damage to your kids. Like someone said, the internet never forgets.
Two years, five years, even 20 years down the line someone will thump their nose at your kids and call your boy, “unwanted.” (if the biological father remains nameless/faceless… and the adopted father distances himself from him)
They may publish your son’s DNA test results to shame him into backing off something that will be great for his future!
They may call him names just to make him sad and depressed…there’s nothing more depressing like an unwanted child.
By exposing this child, this boy to the world, you and Nedu have put a permanent chip on his shoulder and you started it!
