Francis Coquelin insists Valencia are heading to Old Trafford ‘with the intention of winning’ and hope to take advantage of an ‘inconsistent’ Manchester United.
Jose Mourinho’s Red Devils defeated Young Boys 3-0 in their Champions League opener last month but have since lost to Derby County and West Ham.
There are question marks over Mourinho’s future at the club and star players Paul Pogba and Alexis Sanchez have reportedly fallen out with the former Chelsea and Real Madrid boss.
Coquelin faced Manchester United on numerous times while he was at Arsenal and will hope to trouble Mourinho’s side on Tuesday night after recovering from a long-term injury earlier in the season.
‘We’re going to Manchester with a bit more confidence after winning at Anoeta and with the intention of winning,’ the French midfielder told VCF Media.
