After being out of competitive football for over two years, legendary Nigerian goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama was hoping to return to competitive football with French Ligue 1 club, Dijon FC, reports Zealmediacast blog.
But his trial at the club has been unsuccessful and coach Stephane Jobard has turned down the chance to hand the former Lille goalkeeper a contract.
Enyeama, now 36 year old, joint Lille in June 2011 from Hapoel Tel Aviv and was released from his contract with the French club in August 2018 after playing for them last in April 2017. He made 164 appearances for Lille in seven years.
He has also won 101 caps for Nigeria leading them to the 2013 AFCON triumph in South Africa. Read more
