The 70th Emmy® Awards will be broadcast live on M-Net channel 101 DStv on Tuesday 18 September at 01:00am, with a delayed additional airing on the same day at 8:00pm. This means M-Net’s Tuesday Prime time line-up will change: The Blacklist, Animal Kingdom and Strike Back will be off air to accommodate the prestigious awards show. This year’s hosts are Saturday Night Live’s dashing duo Colin Jost and Michael Che.
In the Outstanding Drama Series category, The Americans, Game of Thrones, The Handmaid’s Tale, This Is Us and Westworld are dominating the nominations slate, and as always, M-Net has brought you these acclaimed series first. The most nominations went to fan favourite Game of Thrones with 22 mentions across all categories, and Westworld came in second place with a close 21 nominations.
