The Nigeria Football Federation has told the Minister of Sports Sunday Dare that it is impossible to win all the competitions the country enters.
The minister had expressed disappointment regarding the sliding fortunes of Nigerian football teams in international competitions recently and he consequently queried the leadership of the NFF over the development.
The Minister met with the NFF at his office in Abuja on Monday where he demanded reports on why the Flying Eagles and Golden Eaglets crashed out in the round of 16 of the FIFA U-20 and U-17 World Cups respectively. He also demanded explanations regarding the failure of the country to pick tickets for both men and women’s football events of the 2020 Olympics Games. Read more
