Newly admitted students to Chrisland University, Abeokuta, Ogun State, have been charged to dress decently and modestly, as the institution will not tolerate any act of indiscipline or loose conducts, among its students.
The charge was given on Thursday by the Vice Chancellor, Prof (Mrs.) Chinedum Peace Babalola, during the univetsity’s matriculaton ceremony.
Babalola, who said parents had been made to sign undertakings as guarantee for their children’s good conduct, said her team would go the extra mile to ensure that the students excel in learning and character.
“Be modest and decent in your dressing and approach to issues. I must also add that university is all about learning but also about character.
“I applaud the parents and guardians for choosing Chrisland University. I admired the way you came personally for the interviews and how you cooperated with us.
“Recall that you signed and agreed with your children to abide by the rules and regulations. Please keep up with it and support the university in molding the students to be the best they can be,” Babalola stated.
She added that the University had zero tolerance for cultism or any form of hooliganism and corruption. (ThisDay)
