The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has said that it will arraign musician, Afeez Fashola, aka Naira Marley, anytime from now.
The singer was arrested last Friday by the EFCC in connection with alleged Internet fraud and money laundering.
The EFCC’s acting Head, Media and Publicity, Tony Orilade, in an interview with our correspondent, confirmed that the commission had received the order to detain Naira Marley.
Asked how long the musician would be detained, Orilade simply said, “He will be charged to court. As soon as we have a clear date, I will let you know.” Read more
