The Independent National Electoral Commission in Lagos State says it is waiting for instruction from its headquarters on what to do with the electoral materials already deployed for elections.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the electoral umpire had announced the postponement of the presidential and National Assembly elections earlier scheduled for Saturday (today) by a week.
The shift was announced by the INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, in the early hours of February 16. Read more
