Frank Lampard has told Callum Hudson-Odoi he intends to make the teenager an integral part of his Chelsea side in an attempt to convince the England winger to sign a new contract.
The 18-year-old submitted a transfer request in January having been regularly overlooked by Lampard’s predecessor Mauirzio Sarri.
A move to Bayern Munich failed to materialise, however, but Hudson-Odoi is yet to agree an extension to a deal which is due to expire in just under a year’s time.
Fellow youngster Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Mason mount have recently committed their long-term futures to the west London club and Lampard is hopeful Hudson-Odoi will follow suit, despite Bayern reportedly being ready to test the waters with a new £45million offer. Read more
