Segun Adebutu, the Chairman of Petrolex Oil and Gas and son of lottery icon, Kesington Adebutu, popularly known as Baba Ijebu, was sighted around town late Tuesday night in a celebratory mood.
Thisislagos saw the tycoon arrive close to midnight and sat alone at the bar before being joined by a few others whom he ended up hosting at “W” the popular Lounge in Falomo, Ikoyi, which is known to cater to the affluent in Lagos.
Attempts to engage with him were rebuffed as his menacing-looking security did not allow our man-about-town correspondent access to the businessman, who seemed to be having a really good time. One of his employees eventually promised to get back to us in due time.
While we could not readily ascertain what Adebutu, who is also an Executive Director in Premier Lotto, was celebrating, media sources have revealed that he has something in the offing.
A report in Thisday newspaper on Sunday, January 26, 2020, noted that he is working on something big “which he is keeping very close to his chest”.
