But one woman was so worried, she didn’t introduce them until she was in labour with her boyfriend’s baby – because she was worried about what they would think about their 30-year age gap.
Cara Foxall, 25, and her partner Gordon Robertston, 55, had been together for over a year when she eventually introduced him to her parents in the delivery suite. The mum-of-two, who is now expecting twins with Gordon, met her partner at work and they never thought they would fall in love but their feelings soon deepened, and they have been a couple for over two years – now living together in Dundee, Scotland.
