Woman, 77, mauled to death by her own dogs

A 77-year-old wheelchair-user with cancer was mauled to death by her three pit bulls.

Sharon Daniels, 77, was savaged by the animals after being left alone with them at her home in Big Prairie Township, Michigan, Tuesday night.

Daniels, who was missing a leg, was repeatedly bitten by the pit bulls until she died, WBTV reported.

They added that her underlying medical conditions meant that she succumbed to the mauling more quickly.
