Foremost Nigerian rapper, Ycee, has released a new single titled “Azul’22”.
This follows the release of his last project “Nu Riddim” and a year of outstanding features and collaborations locally and on the international scene.
Already making waves across the clubs in Lagos and Abuja and on social media platforms like TikTok, “Azul’22” is the first single release from the artiste in 2022.
Inspired by the popular phrase ‘who order Azul’, Ycee collaborates with prominent South African artistes, Costa Titch and Phantom Steeze; and producers Sibusiso Johannes Mnyakeni, Sebuti Alec Mohalanyane and Thando Tshabalala, on this banging amapiano track.
Born Oludemilade Martin Alejo on January 29, 1993 in Festac Town, Lagos State, Nigeria, Ycee is a Nigerian rapper, singer and songwriter nominated for Best Artist in African Pop at the 2015 All Africa Music Awards. The Hip hop, Afro pop musician rose to limelight after his single “Condo”, which features vocals from Patoranking, earned him two nominations at the 2015 Nigeria Entertainment Awards.
