Kidpreneur Africa is set to host its highly anticipated 4th annual KidBiz Fair in three major cities across Nigeria in a vibrant celebration of youthful creativity and entrepreneurial spirit.
The one-day marketplace extravaganza, scheduled to take place in Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt, according to a statement, provides a unique platform for young minds aged 6-15 to showcase and sell their products or services, putting their business acumen to the test.
The KidBiz Fair is not just a market; it’s an immersive experience designed to nurture the next generation of business leaders. Prior to the event, participating children underwent comprehensive training in essential business skills, including the art of selling, market principles, marketing, branding, financial literacy and the vital role the workforce plays in driving local economies.
Scheduled to kick off on December 2nd, 2023, at the Garden City Amusement Park in Port Harcourt, the fair will later move to Splash Water Park in Abuja on December 9th and conclude at Freedom Park Lagos on December 16th. The event promises a dynamic lineup of activities, including masterclasses, green business idea pitching competitions among schools, workshops, KidBiz Fair pitching competitions, engaging games, and a thrilling raffle draw.
Families are invited to join the festivities and share a grand experience of bonding over great conversations, fun rides, entertainment and yummy treats. Entry to the KidBiz Fair is free, but registration is mandatory to ensure an organised and enjoyable experience for all attendees.
Kidpreneur Africa’s initiative underscores the importance of instilling entrepreneurial values in children from an early age, encouraging them to dream big, think creatively, and embark on the exciting journey of entrepreneurship.
