Mr Omoyele Sowore has emerged the presidential candidate of African Action Congress (AAC) at its convention held in Lagos, yesterday.
Sowore assured delegates of his resolve to bring improved welfare to the people if elected president of Nigeria in 2019.
Mr Femi Falana, human rights activist, who graced the occasion, pledged free legal services for the party, urging the party to be proactive in delivering its promises to the people.
Falana regretted the poor state of infrastructure, health, education, electricity and other amenities in the country, decrying vote buying in Ekiti and Osun States. He viewed the party as a conglomerate of youthful people, who should be ready to wrestle power from the ruling political parties. Read more
