Olori Kafayat, one of the wives of the late Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi, is dead.
She died barely two months after the death of the Alaafin.
Olori Kafayat, who was the fourth Olori of the late traditional ruler, reportedly gave up the ghost on Friday night.
She was the mother of Prince Adebayo Adeyemi, who is the chairman of the Oyo State Local Government Pensions Board.Details of her death, however, remain sketchy as of the time of filing this report.
Oba Adeyemi died on April 22, 2022, at Afe Babalola University Teaching Hospital, Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital.
He joined his ancestors at the age of 83.
Another Alaafin is yet to ascend the throne after the demise of Oba Adeyemi. (DailyTrust)
