The BBC had the official launch of its Lagos bureau, the biggest in Africa on Wednesday March 21, 2018.
The service already boasts an audience of 36m people in Nigeria through its Igbo, Yoruba, Pidgin, Hausa and English services.
The event also marked the official unveiling of Toyosi Ogunseye as the Head of BBC West Africa. The multiple award winning journalist is immediate past editor of Sunday Punch.
It was a night of networking, tasty hors d’oeuvres, fine wine and bonhomie.
